(Recommended for 2nd–3rd graders)
Use natural objects to explore the worlds of chemical and physical science. Examine crystals: make your own paper: learn about magnetism and much more.
Numbers & Shapes
(Recommended for 2nd–3rd graders: appropriate for 1st graders with strong scissor skills) Discover the art in Tangrams and the intricacy of origami: create puzzles and explore shapes in nature!
Colors & Shapes
(Recommended for 1st–3rd graders)
Explore the color wheel as you mix paint colors, weave mats, design sponge stamps and use them to create a mobile! (This workshop is messy. Smocks are provided, but please do not wear your uniform or good clothes!)
Science in Action
(Recommended for 1st & 2nd graders)
Explore physical and chemical changes when you create new compounds!
Mix and “deconstruct” colors!

Geology, USA!
(Recommended for 4th–6th graders)
Take an “aerial tour” of the United States and practice “hands-on” geology
when you come in for a landing! Learn about the structure of the earth and the
natural forces that continue to shape it. Sort rocks and minerals, mold fossils
and more!
This workshop fulfills the Junior Girl Scouts Rocks
Rock merit badge;
Webelos Geologist Pin; Cub Scout Geology Belt Loop and Pin.

All tours (including the self-guided weekend option) and workshops MUST be booked in advance. Memberships, coupons, special offers, guest passes, etc. are not valid for these tours or workshops.
